Iced spirulina peppermint tea



This light tea is refreshing on a hot day and provides a nice energy boost.

Yield: Makes approximately ½ gallon of tea

Ingredients:

- 8 bags of peppermint tea
- ½ teaspoon Hawaiian Spirulina powder
- 8 ounces of warm water
- 64 ounces of boiling water
- Fresh organic mint leaves for garnish

Directions:

Place the ½ teaspoon of Hawaiian Spirulina into a cup and add eight ounces of warm water. Mix together. In a separate pitcher, add 64 ounces of boiling water to eight peppermint tea bags. Steep for five minutes. Allow to cool, add spirulina mixture, and chill with ice. Garnish with mint leaves.
