What is  the benefits of Spirulina juice ?

1 Supporting brain health

Taking a spoonful of spirulina a day is believed to help protect the brain from degenerative diseases, such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. One study compared spirulina to foods rich in antioxidants like blueberries and spinach, which are well-known to cause neuroprotective effects because of their ability to lower inflammation and eliminate free radicals. Research has also shown it doesn’t only protect the brain from degeneration, but it also helps sharpen your mind, with some findings that suggest taking it daily can even help increase productivity and focus, as well as to decrease ADHD symptoms.

2 Spirulina can help detoxify heavy metals, especially arsenic

Chronic arsenic toxicity is a worldwide problem. According to the World Health Organization, the United States is one of the most affected countries, although it is a more serious problem in the Far East, including India, Bangladesh and Taiwan. Citizens consume high concentrations of arsenic in drinking water. The impact can be devastating, even in the years after exposure. It was initially associated with abdominal pain, severe diarrhea, vomiting and nausea, but peripheral neuropathy and encephalopathy were also associated with it. In Bangladesh, as many as 3% of the population are said to have signs of arsenic poisoning, but after giving patients Spirulina extracts combined with zinc, the participants'arsenic levels dropped by 47%.
Spirulina also has high chlorophyll content, which helps to remove toxins from the blood and enhance the immune system.

3 Improve muscle strength and endurance

One of the main causes of muscle fatigue is oxidative damage caused by exercise. Eating antioxidant-rich plant foods such as Spirulina can prevent this problem, or at least limit the damage. Spirulina has also been found to be beneficial in improving endurance and muscle strength.

4. Reduce the risk of cancer

The University of Maryland Medical Center reported: "Many animal and in vitro studies have shown that Spirulina can increase the production of antibodies, anti-infective proteins and other immune-enhancing cells, and help fight infections and chronic diseases, such as cancer."

Studies from the Czech Republic indicate that "Spirulina is rich in tetrapyrrol compounds closely related to bilirubin, which is an effective antioxidant and antiproliferator." When testing human pancreatic cells, scientists found that "compared with untreated cells, experimental therapy significantly reduced the proliferation of human pancreatic cancer cell lines in a dose-dependent manner. "

Basically, this proves that adding Spirulina to a person's diet can help prevent many different cancers from developing.

5. Reduce blood sugar level

Some animal studies have shown that taking Spirulina can lower blood sugar levels, and in fact, the results even suggest that Spirulina can outperform some of the most common diabetic drugs, such as metformin. Other studies in humans included 25 patients with type 2 diabetes who took 2 grams of Spirulina platensis daily for two months and had significantly lower blood sugar levels.

6. Reduce blood pressure

Because of the pigmented phycocyanin, Spirulina provides an antihypertensive effect, which means it helps lower blood pressure because it reverses endothelial dysfunction in patients with metabolic syndrome. Metabolic syndrome is one of the main causes of preventable diseases nowadays
