Date:2019-05-24Views:1542

A delicious and elegant Spirulina egg scramble recipe made with the number one Spirulina on Earth. Aptly named “Eggs Spiratine”.

Makes approximately 6 Servings.

Ingredients:
6 Medium Eggs
1 Large Tomato, Thickly Sliced
1-2 Pounds of Fresh Spinach
1-1/2 Cups of Milk
1/4 Cup of Flour
3 Ounces of Grated Parmesan Cheese
2 Ounces of Butter
3 Tablespoons of Light Cream
1 Tablespoon of Earthrise® Spirulina
1/2 teaspoon of Celery Salt
1/2 teaspoon of Seasoned Salt
1 Dash of Salt

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
Wash the spinach and chop into big pieces and place into a medium bowl, sprinkling the salt over it
Mix the spinach with half of the butter, the seasonings and the Earthrise® Spirulina
Put the mixture into an over-proof dish
Make the cheese sauce by melting the remaining butter in a saucepan over a low heat
Blend the flour into the cheese until completely mixed and then cook for another minute
Turn the heat off, slowly pour the milk into the pan while constantly stirring and then bring to a boil, still constantly stirring
Cook for another 2 minutes
Stir in a little more than half of the cheese and take the pan off of the stove
Poach the eggs lightly then arrange on the spinach in the oven-proof dish
Add the cream to the cheese sauce and then pour over the spinach and the eggs
Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the eggs
Bake in the oven until golden brown (about 10 minutes)
Arrange the tomato slices on the Eggs Spiratine
